| Description | The main topic of the article is the analysis of threads concerning Hussites and Hussite movement in the political corrspondence between King Władysław Jagiełło and Grand Duke Witold. The studied source material from the 1420s is often used in historiography to interpret the policies of Jagiełło and Witold in the difficult period of the Hussite revolution, after the Wrocław verdict, and the ensuing crisis in Polish-Lithuanian relations. Determining the chronology of the creation, and the content od individual letters is not always conclusive, and it is subject to the differences in their reporting (in Liber Cancellariae and the Kórnik cartulary). |
