| Description | A method of purifying liquids by generating an electrically excited discharge of a low temperature plasma in a liquid medium in devices in which cavitation or supercavitation can be achieved by flowing the liquid by means of a constricting element, wherein the low temperature plasma is generated to in close proximity to its formation upstream of the liquid, in the direction of its flow, by means of an excited electrode situated in accordance with the direction of the liquid flow, the magnitude of the frequency of the high-voltage discharge being in the range of 0 to 20 MHz. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method. |
