| Description | Spanish and Latin American literature gained popularity among Czech readers mainly due to the genre of magical realism, which aroused general interest in the second half of the 20th century a which prepared the ground for other literary tendencies and authors coming from this language area. Nowadays, Spanish-language literature is gaining more and more space in Czech publishing houses, both in the form of re-editions of the "golden fund" and in the form of didcovering the contemporary authors. |
