Description The dissertation thesis deals with the issue of education of twice-exceptional students in primary school. The research survey will consist of two parts. The first part aims to analyze the educational process of twice-exceptional students through case studies. The second part aims to clarify types of twice-exceptional pupils, to evaluate the awareness of teachers about the issue of double exceptionality and to map the use of support measures in their education through quantitative survey. On the basis of research findings and literatury study, a framework of methodological recommendations for work with gifted pupils and pupils with twice exceptionality will be developer. This framework will be addressed directly to teachers in mainstream schools. The presented conference paper presents the theoretical basis and design of the research of the dissertation thesis together with the presentation of the expected outcomes.
