Description | The paper focusses on an annalistic outline of the Czech history, written in German (also known as "Abriss"), containing an overview of sovereigns, summaries of the religious orders present in our territory as well as some events of secular history, particularly from the 1340s. Some selected features and potential parallels with other works are looked at in these annals, which were preserved in a manuscript together with the rhymed German translation of the Dalimil Chronicles (Tutsch kronik von Behem lant), in order to give a better idea of its origin and the circumstances surrounding its creation. |
