| Description | This paper deals with historical circumstances, which led the League of Nations to conclusion of the International Convention for the Suppression of Counterfeiting Currency in the first half of the twentieth century. The paper gives historical overview of currency counterfeiting in the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic. It deals with individual circumstances, which in their relations contributed to initiative by French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with Czechoslovak Republic to the League of Nations to preparation of the International Convention for the Suppression of Counterfeiting Currency with the objective to exclude these actions from the political sphere. |
