| Description | The optimal temperature of temporary storage of corpses in the morgue is important for slowing the development of postmortem changes, which in many cases may influence the interpretation of the autopsy finding and for the safe behavior of autopsies. The most common changes include the creation of cold stiffness, drying for mummification of tissue and other changes. |
