| Description | This study is dedicated to well-known Viennese art critic and journalist Arthur Roessler. To be more precise it is focused on his communication with the representatives of German culture in Brno that he kept from 1917 till the beginning of 1930’s. The character of these contacts is captured in the letters of collector MUDr. Gustav Prochaska and painter Bruno Beran. The extant letters form a part of Roessler’s large estate kept in manuscript of Viennese library (Handschriftensammlung der Wienbibliothek im Rathaus). |
