Description | Discourses are essential arenas where policy-making occurs. Analysis of parliamentary debates on material need assistance reveals how governing societies through security, biologisation, the normalisation of self-responsibility, and through moral claims, redefines relationships in the society, leads to restrictive control oriented measures, resulting in symbolic and social exclusion that deepens inequalities and solidifies the institutional racism (not only) against the Roma in Slovakia. |
