| Description | The professionalization of museum education in museum practice runs parallel to the development of organised professional contacts between museum pedagogues in both international and local context. The Czech Association of Museums and Galleries, which was founded in 1990 on the basis of a previous traditional association of museum professionals, encompasses a branch oriented on museum education, work with visitors, and promotion of professional development of museum staff. The contribution of-fers a look back at previous activity of the Committee for Public Relations and Museum Pedagogy, which was founded twenty five years ago, and follows up the development of its professional thematic focus. |
