| Description | This paper deals with the most interesting examples of Czech translations and adaptations of Cervantes' The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, published from the early 20th century to the present. Attention is paid to the chosen translation strategies with regard to the resulting solutions for the translation of selected anthroponyms, toponyms and realia. These solutions are then analyzed and compared. |
