| Description | The chapter traces the career of Jiří Hetzl, born in 1874 in Stanětice near Domažlice. After graduating from the Faculty of Law in Prague, he worked briefly in legal practice. Then he returned to the faculty and until his retirement in 1939 he devoted himself to administrative law there. After the establishment of Czechoslovakia, he worked briefly at the Ministry of the Interior, where he prepared a draft Czechoslovak constitution from 1920. As a member of the corps of experts, he also participated in the preparation of the constitution from 1948. |
