| Description | The article deals with the repeated performances of the function of presidents and vice-presidents of courts, in line with the 2010 Czech Constitutional court decision which abolished the possibility of the one-time repetition of the performance of the function. Following the decision, a new amendment of the Act on courts and judges introduces a ban on repetition with several exemptions. The author points to historical developments of court officials’ repeated performance of a function, current state and the present amendment with its constitutional consequences. |
