| Description | It was the 20th century that introduced Denis Ivanovich Fonvizin into the Czechoslovak environment. In the 1920s, he was presented to the public primarily as a critic of a lack of education. Since 1946, Fonvizin was considered a revolutionary and a fighter against social inequality. The study compares the individual theatrical productions, we find out that they do not differ much from each other. However, we see fundamental differences in the accompanying materials (extensive theatrical programs, biography of the author, etc.), which were created about Fonvizin and which were supposed to reach every single theatrical spectator. |
