| Description | In clinical trials, comparing the efficacy of treatments "treatment switch "or "cross-over "between treatments could happen. Typical examples of treatment switch are in oncology when after the failure of a treatment switch to another treatment is allowed. In the analysis of overall survival, treatment switch could lead to overestimating control treatment effect. Several statistical techniques were developed to avoid this bias to face the problem. The most frequently used technique is RPSFT (Rank Preserving Structural Failure Time). |
