| Description | At first glance, V. M. Šukšin and J. Balabán have little in common. Nevertheless, after reading Shukshin's short story Zabuksoval, we may get the impression that we are reading Balaban translated into Russian. Based on a comparative analysis, we will look at why this is the case, reveal the common motives of the work of both authors (eg the relationship between father and son, the importance of the figure of the teacher, paradoxes and existential issues and others). This analysis, based on analogy, can then help us, for example, in translating Šukšin's short story into Czech. |
