On the issue of the pragmatic relationship between the musical sign and the recipient as its user, he draws on the partial results of empirical musical sociological researches into the attitudes of Czech university students to classical and especially contemporary art music conducted by the author with research team of the Department of Music at the Masaryk University in Brno in 2012–2016.
