| Description | Death, which goes hand in hand with life, is an integral part of each of us. It was no different in the past, when our ancestors had much deeper and more intense relationships with their deceased ancestors. This paper discusses the extent to which this has been reflected in the traditions coming out of our environment and how we can observe these factors in the present day. The tabooing of death has gradually eradicated the original meaning of various customs and shifted their function. |
