| Description | The textbook Nursing procedures in intensive care is aimed at intensive care students and nurses working in intensive care units. This textbook provides comprehensive knowledge needed to perform nursing procedures in critically ill patients, especially - analysis of intensive care and long-term intensive care patients´ needs, pain assessment, delirium diagnostics, patients with infection, scoring systems in intensive medicine, ICU-acquired weakness, central nervous system monitoring (intracranial pressure monitoring, external ventricular drainage system…), specific monitoring (thrombelastography, near-infrared spectroscopy, electrical impedance tomography, intraabdominal pressure management) and target temperature management and invasive temperature measurement.
