| Description | The study deals with the basic theory of interpretation of works of art (in general) in terms of its objectivity. How do we recognize which of the possible interpretive perspectives is the right one? And can it be determined at all? How to identify the functional interpretation strategy and what to include in it? We answer these questions on the background of Robert Stecker's theory, especially his study Art Interpretation. |
