| Description | In my paper I focus on Czech as a foreign language in the context of communication with children patients. I analyse the way how textbooks are approaching this topic and I focus on relevant linguistic phenomena as to the language production of the doctor. I introduce basic characteristics of pre-school children language and describe its possible advantages or disadvantages as to doctors´ perception. The aim of my presentation is to depict possible linguistic features and linguistic competences of a typical child patient in a particular age group and see its implications for students, teachers as well as study materials´ authors. |
