Description As life expectancy increases, evidence of various intercurrent diseases is becoming increasingly important. The memory problems associated with Alzheimer's disease and how sufferers describe them during their appointment with the neurologist appear to be an important tool for diagnosis and for assessing the quality of life of people affected by this neurodegenerative disease. The auto-description of forgetfulness disorders and its comparison with the actual assessment of each patient provides an excellent opportunity for the doctor to assess the level of cognitive deficit accurately and give the possibility for selecting the correct treatment.
