Description We read with great interest the insightful editorial comment by Nose and Peterson. Recently, endourological techniques involving bladder mucosa flap advancement or the placement of a buccal mucosal graft into incised strictures have shown promise in treating posterior urethral stenosis (PUS) or vesicourethral anastomosis stenosis (VUAS). Compared to the complex abdomino-perineal approach, these techniques are simpler, have lower morbidity, and are potentially more reproducible.
