Description As part of the contribution, the textbooks the author is currently working with in her research were briefly introduced. These include Krok za krokem, Čeština Expres, Czech it up, Česky prosím, and Cestou necestou. This was followed by a presentation of the vocabulary on the topic of "family" that appears in these textbooks. Which words form the core that appears in all textbooks, and which words are on the periphery, with most textbooks not considering them important? What are the most commonly presented variants for words referring to family members, such as otec, táta, or tatínek (father)?
