Description The aim of the paper is to compare different managerial approaches to social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic, which type of social enterprise is the most effective in terms of management and how decision-making processes take place within the enterprise. A questionnaire survey was conducted in social enterprises to collect data. The research showed that the most common legal form of social enterprise is a limited liability company, the main manager is aged 40-49 and has been involved in the management of the enterprise for at least five years. Managers primarily use a democratic approach in decision-making, The democratic management style is appropriate for legal forms of cooperative, church legal entity, self-employed person or institute. The liberal approach is used by a quarter of social enterprises, the least represented in the research was the autocratic approach.
