| Description | The abstract and the conference presentation present the current methodological procedure for searching for the sugar-mill cultural landscape in the Czech Republic. By jointly using map data available for this issue, it was possible to identify areas that meet the relevant groups of criteria for the sugar-mill landscape, as a special type of post-industrial landscape, using GIS operations. Optimal cases of the simultaneous coexistence of well-preserved remains of sugar mills, transport and other accompanying infrastructure and production (past or present) areas represent areas of interest for specific territorial management. |
