| Description | The book raises the question of the role of the social sciences in investigating the causes, manifestations and solutions to climate change, in which social, political and economic factors - and ultimately human behaviour - are all significantly involved. Climate change affects all aspects of human activity and existence. The social sciences thus play a key role in exploring and addressing it, even though, for a long time, it was almost exclusively the domain of the natural sciences. In this book, leading Czech scientists from several social science disciplines, including sociology, economics, political science, education and law, show the social dimension of climate change and explain the key findings of the social science discipline. They also examine the impact of climate change on the discipline and highlight the need for interdisciplinarity. |
