Description In this study, two basic themes are followed. Within the framework of the first theme, we analyzed the extent to which Škarka's term "mystical erotica" is used from the point of view of research generations, or personalities who were or are dealing with the same or similar texts as him. We come to find that it's pretty much the same, even across generations. The aforementioned dimension of baroque poetics is referred to as promiscuous, often as baroque mysticism, increasingly with a tendency towards the amorously spiritual attribute. Therefore, we prefer such a designation as a more sensitive and appropriate term. As part of the second mentioned topic, we illustrated different verbal material compared to Škarka's selection, focusing mostly on homiletic texts with so-called wedding spiritual themes. At the same time, we noted that baroque mysticism is traceable as a dimension across genres and appears as one of the defining features of baroque poetics (so-called early modern works with baroque poetics), and not only homiletics, but also hymnography and hagiography, thus also s. c. broadside ballads.
