| Description | This chapter focuses on relations between the Czech Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) and the judicial power, including the Supreme Court, civil courts, the Constitutional Court, and international courts (CJEU, ECtHR). Within the separation of powers, the most significant tasks of the SAC as a part of judicial power are composed of adjudication and, subsequently, unification of jurisprudence in administrative matters. As one of the highest courts, the SAC is essential in resolving competence conflicts between various court branches. Particular competence of the SAC was based on adjudication in disciplinary matters of all Czech judges, prosecutors, and judicial bailiffs till 2024, with substantial changes since 2025. |
