| Description | The document presents the results of a questionnaire survey conducted between 2020 and 2021 in three research localities (the administrative districts of the municipalities with extended powers of Pohořelice, Tišnov and Valašské Klobouky), targeting private individual owners of agricultural land (including those who farm their land as well as those who lease it out). The survey focused on how agricultural landowners perceive the impacts of global climate change and whether they undertake any active measures to address its manifestations. The survey reached a sample of 422 respondents and revealed that most landowners are of older age, have inherited their agricultural land, and primarily perceive climate change impacts in the form of droughts and heatwaves. Those who actively farm their land tend to engage in measures to mitigate or adapt to climate change, whereas those who only lease their land generally leave such efforts to their tenants. |
