• Description: The lecture focused on the interconnection between values, human dignity, and everyday social work practice in the context of both church-based and public charitable services. It demonstrated that human dignity is not an abstract concept but a key principle shaping work with clients, decision-making processes, and the organisation of services. Drawing on examples from practice and research, the lecture highlighted the role of social workers in creating spaces that strengthen autonomy, relationships, and people’s capacity to cope with challenging life situations.
