| Description | The professional book is devoted to vocational education in the era of the Fifth Industrial Revolution. The first chapter focuses on the history of vocational education in the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as on the historical development of eras and industrial revolutions and related didactic issues in vocational education. The second chapter addresses the quality of vocational education. The third chapter deals with educational strategies and policy documents in vocational education in the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter focuses on the application of learning objectives and educational content in the context of vocational education. Chapters 5, 6, and 7 focus on educational technologies and on aspects of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality in vocational education. The book is enriched with a wide range of practical examples of teaching in vocational education in two areas: technical fields (electrical engineering and woodworking) and trade and services (gastronomy). |
