| Description | In the Blansko District, we identified a total of 17 small museums and several other minor museum-type institutions. In three cases, these are fully professional municipal museums; the others are established by municipalities, interest-based organizations, business entities, or individuals. The museums we found focus primarily on the presentation of their collections, but only rarely offer guided tours and, with one notable exception, do not provide any educational programs. It should be emphasized, however, that most small museums originated from the enthusiasm and voluntary efforts of local civic communities. This study is based exclusively on online information sources, and its findings should ideally be verified through field research. |
