Description The Anabaptists, who also came to be known by the popular names toufaři or habáni, first appeared in Moravia in 1526. While in the surrounding lands they were imprisoned, tortured, and executed for their faith, in Moravia they found a safe refuge. Thus began an almost century-long chapter of Moravian Anabaptism, the traces of which remain visible to this day.
