| Description | Prof. Milan Kopecký, DrSc., was one of the most prominent representatives of the field of early Czech literature. His bibliography contains almost 600 items, including 20 book publications. He also gained prestige abroad, where he lectured mainly in Germany, Italy and Norway. He supervised hundreds of diploma theses, dozens of rigoroses and habilitations. For 19 years he was the head of the Department of Czech Literature and Literary Studies, for seven years he headed the Faculty of Arts as vice-dean and dean. The original exhibition at FF MU (opening on 14 May) was presented as the story of a university worker with an emphasis on his professional growth and pedagogical focus against the background of a complex historical period, whose development he thus captures, in parallel, in the form of photographs and letters (42 images in total). This exhibition was also used in part at the workshop in Rajhrad (Brno memorial), while the event was primarily conceived as a workshop with discussion. |
