| Description | The functional sample is a structurally modified lytic staphylococcal bacteriophage 812h1_His, derived from a bacteriophage of the genus Kayvirus (Herelleviridae). This phage contains an inserted polyhistidine motif (6×His) in one of the exposed loops of the flagellar protein (TSP), which allows its reliable detection using anti-His antibodies. The modification does not impair its biological activity or ability to infect Staphylococcus spp. strains. |
