| Description | Rare diseases are not rare only for those who live with them. They are also rare for doctors and the pharmaceutical industry, because diagnostics and treatment are often very complex and experts are looking for options across the world. CREATIC is dedicated to research and development of gene and cell therapies that can bring new treatment options for patients with some rare diseases. CZECRIN also plays an important role in clinical trials. Cooperation between scientists, doctors and patient organizations is key - and that is what the traditional Rare Disease Day is about, which will take place on February 24 in the Mendel greenhouse in Brno. This day follows Rare Disease Day, which is celebrated worldwide on February 28, and its goal is to raise awareness of rare diseases, support patients and their families, and show progress in research and treatment.
