Description As part of the TAČR TREND project we have developed functional sample of dielectric Al2O3 coating coated in reactive magnetron deposition. The coating has optimized dielectric strength 200 V/µm in areal breakdown test, good adhesion to industrially relevant substrates, Young modulus close to base material (190 GPa) and excellent stability in mechanical and temperature load. The coating was coated at temperature 230°C with deposition rate relevant for industrial coating processes.
