| Description | The work aimed to compare the frequency of use of individual preventive examinations aimed at determining total cholesterol, glucose levels and uric acid from capillary blood in selected BENU pharmacies, to compare their availability, to express the number of measurements performed per 1000 inhabitants of each monitored city and to evaluate the number of individual measurements per pharmacy that provides these services. The higher population density in large cities was reflected in a higher overall number of measurements per pharmacy. On the contrary, in smaller towns, where the pharmacy is often one of the few places offering preventive services and advice, the frequency of measurements per 1000 inhabitants was higher. |
