| Description | The output presents a set of twelve model solutions addressing barrier situations. These model solutions directly build upon two previous outputs, namely specialised databases. While the Specialized public database of barrier situations for people with sensory disabilities in public transport identified and described the specific barrier situations, the Specialized public database of alternative solutions to barrier situations for people with sensory disabilities in public transport proposed potential variants for their resolution. Based on these findings, twelve specific model solutions were selected and subsequently implemented into the operations of the Brno City Transport Company (DPMB). These measures include, for example, driver training, the creation of The tactile atlas of tram interior layouts of Brno City Transport Company, the installation of an orientation voice beacon on the DPMB main building, ensuring the accessibility of the DPMB website for visually impaired users, and the addition of " alighting into the line of traffic" acoustic announcements to all trams. The output thus represents the implementation of specific measures to enhance the accessibility of services provided by the Brno City Transport Company, which can be analogously implemented by other public transport operators across the Czech Republic. |
