| Description | This study examines how the ‘US versus THEM’ dichotomy structures Czech public discourse on the climate crisis. Drawing on seven focus groups (2022–2023), analysed through critical discourse analysis and van Leeuwen’s theory of the representation of social actors, it shows that frames of inclusion/exclusion and activation/passivation capture and, at points, co-constitute perceived urgency and the attribution of responsibility for the causes and impacts of the climate crisis. |
