Description Artificial intelligence can currently be used to diagnose diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, ischemic and non-ischemic forms of optic neuropathy, strabismus, and subjective refraction measurements. Its advantages are speed and timeliness, but limiting factors are the high costs of creating AI algorithms, their quality, and the time required to implement them.
