| Description | The next annual conference of the European Academy of Optics and Optometry (EAOO) was held in Riga, Latvia, from 15 to 17 May 2026. It was the traditional annual meeting of European representatives in the field of optometry and optics. The meeting of the European Council of Optics and Optometry (ECOO) started a day earlier, as usual. This meeting was chaired by the new President Gabriëlle Janssen from the Netherlands, who replaced the former President Dr Matjaž Mihelčič from Slovenia. |
