| Description | This contribution focused on the possibilities for sampling osteological material for aDNA analysis, particularly in juveniles. Analysed samples were taken from the osteological material of the historical population from the town of Znojmo, dated from the early Middle Ages up to the early New Age, and the historical population of Starý Poddvorov from the early Middle Ages. Various sampling methods in sterile laboratory environments were introduced, and their advantages and disadvantages were described. The results of concentrations of aDNA and the success rate of each type of sampling were presented. |
