| Description | As educational expansion continues, the proportion of women with a college degree is growing. This raises the question of how the theory of educational homogamy will hold up, since not all college-educated women will have a college-educated partner available to them. This paper seeks to identify the characteristics of women who choose partners with lower levels of education. |
