| Description | Two new finds of the so-called Kronenhalsringe are known from the border of eastern Bohemia and north-western Moravia. While the fragment from Cerekvice nad Loučnou was found in the area of a multicultural prehistoric settlement site with traces of La Tene Period activities, the artefact from Jevíčko-předměstí (suburban area) was discovered in a hilly landscape outside the settlement of the La Tene Period, but in its vicinity. The fragment from Jevíčko is accompanied by other metal objects from the Bronze Age, La Tene Period (including brooches of the Kostrzewski K type) and the Roman Period. The finds can be considered evidence of the communication importance of the given area. |
