| Description | A final essay in the anniversary publication about the architect Bohuslav Fuchs. The author reflects on the texts about the important modern architect in Brno with different interpretations of his work. In the second part, he tries to identify the constant of the architect's work. It was emotional purism, not always presented strictly in the same way, but on the contrary, always originally enriched with other modern design elements. The author therefore believes that the best way to understand Fuchs' work is to include the concept of the artistic task of Jacob Burckhardt/Michael Baxandall in the research. |
