| Description | In Xanthoria parietina, distinct seasonal variations in sun screening compounds were observed. Low parietin content in winter increased by two folds at summer soltice. Seasonal variation was also recorded in zeaxanthin conctent and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters describing structure and function of photosystem II. |
