Description The rescue archaeological research within the Hulín cadastre in the track U Isidorka in 2004 resulted in unique finds from the period of the Únětice culture (1800-1700 BC). The collection of six copper spiral rings is completely unique. What is completely unique, however, is the preservation of human fingerprints, i.e. skin in the form of mineralized negatives on both the outer and inner sides of the rings. Using the electron and polarization microscopies, the presence of organic compounds was identified, in the form of animal hair or perhaps parts of fur in the block of clay and on one of the rings. The conservation and scientific analysis were modified to avoid damaging or distorting the relics of the fingerprints and hairs. If appropriate care is given to the surfaces of copper and bronze artifacts from tombs during restoration, it may be assumed that similar fingerprints will not remain an exceptional phenomenon.
