| Description | According to the recognised differences in the phonetics of the exemined language materials three entities are obviously coming into wiew: written German language, rural dialects and urban speech. It was found out, that certain influences have been between written language and spoken german at the level of urban speech, but not on the level of rural dialects. Therefore it is not very usefull to judge on the bases of differences in written medieval German on the charakteristics of local (rural) dialects. |
